A TEC Room (Technology Enhanced Classroom) brings technology into the classroom, allowing instructors and guests to present PowerPoints, watch DVDs and other multimedia, browse the internet, or attach a laptop and other audio/video equipment.
Room Information provides a list of TEC Room locations, equipment, and their availabilities.
Note: Standard TEC rooms are being upgraded to HD TEC rooms (as resources allow) over the next 2 years. This schedule is being set by University Leadership.
Standard TEC rooms have 4:3 resolution, contain a VGA cable instead of a HDMI cable, and are being upgraded to HD Tec rooms.
Note: Quick reference guides can be found under Other Resources.
HD Tec rooms have either a 16:10 or a 16:9 resolution and contain a HDMI cable in addition to a VGA cable. These rooms take advantage of upgraded configurations and components to provide a richer media experience.
Note: Quick reference guides for the Touch Panel Control can be found under Other Resources.
