If a professor/student is trying to call international from a cell phone they will be still be charged even if they use a veracity long distance code. They need to use the long distance codes from either a on campus IP phone, or a lan line at their residence.
When phone numbers are given, the country code is usually something like "043" or "+43". However, when actually placing an international call, after dialing 011, only dial 43, not 043 or +43, then continue dialing the number.
Dialing 9 to make an off-campus call is no longer valid.
Use one of the following Veracity access numbers:
The long-distance rate for domestic calls is $0.18 per minute. International calls vary.
