There is a known issue for some users trying to download Office 365 from the Microsoft site. Users will see the error:
"please contact your admin, it looks like they haven't assigned you a license for the Office Desktop apps"
This error is common for newly registered affiliates with BYU including Students, Faculty, Employees etc. but may occur for others as well.
OIT is working on a solution to this issue. In the meantime, our OIT Service Desk can manually update the rights for individual users seeing this error so they can download Office 365.
