BYU will still provide wireless connections in the common areas of on-campus housing such as day rooms, activity rooms, etc.

Like on-campus wireless, BYUSecure and BYUGuest are available to connect to in common areas such as day and activity rooms. For additional information see the campus Wireless Network page.

Student Access in Common Areas:
DO NOT register another person's computer using your Net ID. Individuals will be held responsible for any activity that occurs on a computer registered to them.
Guest Access in Common Areas:
Housing wireless in common areas supports both 2.4 and 5GHz signals (5GHz is recommended). Supports A/G/N connections but NOT B.
