Television service is available for all on-campus housing residents from a mobile device or computer browser on a personal computer via the network connection as part of their housing contract. Visit Campus Television: On-Campus Housing for instructions on accessing and using this service.
Campus Television is available in many classrooms where TEC Podiums or Cabinets are installed through an TV Set Top Box. The Office of IT provides this service at no cost to the university community. Users may view TV channels by choosing IPTV or Campus Television on the touch pad control system in each room. Campus Television is available for university faculty and employees for academic purposes at a nominal monthly charge (requires department account code). Television channels can be viewed by those having accounts from a mobile device or computer browser via a campus network connection (Wired or wireless). Campus Television Accounts
An active Campus Television Account is required to access the Campus Television Service. These accounts are automatically granted for students living in on-campus housing, and to classrooms and other public spaces that feature television as a provided service.
University Faculty and Employees may purchase a Campus Television Account for a nominal monthly fee (Department account code required). Visit Campus Television: Administrative and Academic Buildings for more information.
The Campus Television Service is available in most TEC Rooms on campus and some public viewing areas where TV Set Top Boxes are connected to displays.
The service can also be accessed on mobile devices and office computers connected to the campus wired network or the Eduroam/BYUSecure wireless network.
This service is not available off-campus.
Accessing Campus Television
Web browser: On a computer or Android mobile device: Go to http://tv.byu.edu and enter your BYU NetID and BYU ID as credentials. The BYU ID is your 9-digit University identification with no hyphens or spaces.
iOS Devices: Install BYU Campus Television from the App Store. Open and enter your BYU NetID and BYU ID as credentials. The BYU ID is your 9-digit University identification with no hyphens or spaces.
Content for Campus Television is provided by Beehive Broadband and is available in all campus buildings. It is not available off-campus.
