Printing Solutions maintains the Pharos servers that supports public printing services on campus. This allows inventory all public printers across campus and on campus networks. It also enables OIT to manage billing, printing jobs and queues in a centralized way.
OIT, Harold B. Lee Library, print and mail are the primary consumers of this service. Printing Solution is an administrative tool that is meant for backend management of printers. End users do not interact directly with this service.
Departments that would like to request authorization to use this service must contact OIT Service Desk (2-4000)
If you desire to print to a public printer on campus, you must install the appropriate Pharos print driver.
There is no charge for use of this service.
