The primary function of the Cisco Color Key Expansion Module is to provide the 8961 phone model with additional keys for features such as speed dial or directory numbers. The module’s illuminated buttons and color LCD display make it easy to determine line status, making the expansion module an ideal call-coverage tool.
This key expansion module adds 18 physical keys with access to 18 additional keys through the two Page keys on the base of the module for a total of 36 additional keys.
To access this feature, go to the service description page Campus Phone and use order / modify at the top left of the page.
Once you order an expansion module, OIT technicians must set it up. They will teach you how to configure the speed dial on your expansion module using My IP Phone. Line appearances cannot be configured using My IP Phone; an OIT technician must configure your line appearances for you. The cost of the configuration depends on how many line appearances you request (see below).
One-time Installation fee . . . $187.50
Monthly fee . . . $9.00/month
Line Appearance Configuration fee per number of Line Appearances
