There are two common problems that we see with licensing for Office 365:
Occasionally some users trying to download Office 365 from the office.byu.edu, receive the following error after logging into office.byu.edu:
"Please contact your admin, it looks like they haven't assigned you a license for the Office Desktop apps"
This is due to the fact that the user either does not have licenses or has the wrong licenses assigned to them. This error is common for newly registered affiliates with BYU including Students, Faculty, Employees etc. but may occur for others as well.
