Y-Marketplace has taken the place of BYU Marketplace and is available for CSRs. Y-Marketplace is a BYU Purchasing application. The Office of IT provides interfaces to purchasing in support of this application. The audience for this Office of Purchasing and Travel Application is all BYU employees.
The Office of IT provides interfaces between the Y-Marketplace service provider (VITG) and PeopleSoft financials. The primary audience for this interface are the Office of Purchasing and Travel Application employees.
Any time data needs to be resent from Y-Marketplace to PeopleSoft, the trigger needs to occur within Y-Marketplace. OIT does not have the ability to provide any support functions for the Y-Marketplace application itself. All questions or requests should be redirected to the Purchasing office.
