Endpoint Management includes the ability to use Sophos for Antivirus and Antimalware, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for Microsoft Windows system management, and Jamf Pro (formerly known as Casper Suite) for Macintosh system management.
This service is intended for use by Computer Support Representatives (CSRs), and will allow them to administer their own area autonomously. Sophos provides Antivirus and Antimalware protection to all BYU devices.
SCCM will allow the CSR to image Windows computers, deploy applications and remote control.
Jamf Pro also allows areas to deploy software and computer policies to their Apple Macintosh computers. Many applications have been already created, for both Windows and Apple Macintosh, that are available for any department to use.
Requirements: CSR’s organization must be using the BYU Campus Active Directory (byu.local).
To order this service, please contact Mathew Kieffer.
There is no charge for use of this service when used by authorized CSR's.
