BYU provides four ways to accomplish Group Email Distribution (sending one email to multiple recipients).
ListServ: (listserv.byu.edu) Third-party software provided through BYU. The list is centrally managed and customized by the list owner. A subscriber is added by the list owner or, depending on settings, by the subscriber themselves.
Exchange Distribution Group: Similar to ListServ, but lists can be linked with Active Directory groups. All subscribers must have a BYU premium email address.
Outlook Contact Group: Feature within Outlook. An end user may compile a list of email addresses to which they can send a mass email (unique to the end user’s Outlook profile).
Email Alias Manager: You can create an alias, and forward that alias to several other email addresses.
The feedback box, located below, is intended for general comments on this page or service information and NOT for help with specific technical issues you are having with the service itself.
