Canvas is a Learning Management System option offered by BYU as of Fall 2016. This option has been added to AIM as an alternative to using BYU Learning Suite. Professors may choose to use whichever option they would like.
Information is now being synchronized between AIM and Canvas. If you suspect an issue with data synchronization between these two systems, please contact the OIT Service Desk for help (801-422-4000).

Professors will need to create a Canvas account before they are able to sign in to Canvas. To do so they need to change the course's LMS using the following link: https://byuoit.atlassian.net/wiki/display/CAN/Choose+Canvas+as+Your+LMS. Professors can choose the preferred LMS on CLS05 on the right side. There is a drop down where you can select Canvas/Learning Suite.
There is no fee for using this service.
