Being connected to the Internet via BYU's Campus Network is a critical component for the BYU community. Whether you are a Student, Parent, Faculty Member, Guest, Alumni or have any need at all to be on campus we are working to provide easy access to our network and the Internet.
BYU has a number of options across campus to help get you connected. Please click on any of the following links to get detailed information on connection options:
BYU is working to provide seamless wireless access throughout all of our facilities. Most of campus has been covered and we continue to work on providing pervasive wireless access everywhere possible.
Besides the vast network of wired ports for our Employees, Computer Labs, Offices, and Facilities BYU provides wired connection ports for general access across campus. General wired access can be found in the Harold B. Lee Library (HBLL) and Wilkinson Student Center (WSC).
Each housing unit has one wired network port which residents may use to connect a personal wireless access point or router to. BYU will still provide wireless connections in the common areas of on-campus housing such as day rooms, activity rooms, etc.
