BYU Websites allows you to publish public, informational websites at BYU. It includes web hosting and content management, with central security, accessibility, design, and site monitoring.
Website content is managed through Brightspot CMS, which allows website authors control over the layout and content of pages on their site. Sites are hosted through Amazon Web Services (AWS) with monitoring by Perfect Sense Digital, which gives website owners access to enterprise-level server maintenance and 24-hour monitoring of security and uptime.
BYU Websites is open to colleges, departments, centers, labs, professors, university services, and other official organizations. To request a new Brightspot website, use the link for the request form below.
There is no charge to use BYU Websites.
Many university organizations are eligible to have their website moved to Brightspot by our migration team. Contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
